Guilford Smiles, part of Dental Associates of Connecticut, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant in Guilford, CT. Join a family-oriented team committed to delivering the best patient experience.

You will greet patients, support the doctor, set up trays, take x-rays, and ensure operatory readiness, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and advancing with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills essential.
• Willingness to learn & grow within a family-oriented team.
• Desire to deliver the best patient experience possible.
• Ability to reliably commute to Guilford, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
