Job summary

Archway Dental Partners’ Newtown office is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Dental Assistant. The role supports the doctor with four-handed dentistry, greets and seats patients, takes x-rays, and maintains a clean operatory.

You will enter treatment plans, keep instruments stocked, and communicate with patients to ensure a positive experience. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service, a team mindset, and reliability commuting to Newtown, CT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Available to work during current office hours:

• 4 days per week
• 1-2 late nights per week
