Job summary

Gresham Dental Group in Gresham, OR is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide chairside support for general and cosmetic procedures. The role requires 1–3+ years of experience or a graduation certificate from an accredited dental assistant program, plus active BLS/CPR certification.

Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus. The successful candidate will join a family-focused practice that values compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to CDC/OSHA/ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of chairside dental assisting experience OR a graduation certification from an accredited dental assistant program.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during general and cosmetic procedures.
• Deliver a gentle, judgment-free patient experience and help patients feel welcome and at ease.
• Prepare, sterilize, and turnover instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate closely with front office and clinical staff to maintain a smooth daily schedule.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

• Experience: 1- 3+ years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience OR a graduation certification from an accredited dental assistant school.
• Certifications: Active BLS/CPR certification.
