Job summary

Bluetree Dental in Gresham, Oregon, is hiring a chairside dental assistant with 1–3 years of clinical experience or a dental assisting certification. The role requires Active BLS/CPR and familiarity with modern practice software like Open Dental.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience OR graduation certification from an accredited dental assistant school.
  • Active BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience with Open Dental is a major plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, clear and compassionate communication.
  • Safety-sensitive role with pre-employment drug screening; adherence to CDC/OSHA/ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality four-handed chairside assistance during general and cosmetic procedures.
  • Deliver a gentle, judgment-free patient experience for community members.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and turnover instruments and rooms following infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with front office and clinical staff to maintain smooth daily scheduling.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)


  • Experience: 1- 3+ years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience OR a graduation certification from an accredited dental assistant school.
