Overview

Lakeshore Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant in Glendale, Wisconsin to support our clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment.

Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting the dental team during treatments. Our mission is to provide excellent dental care and create positive experiences for our patients. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

• Competitive hourly pay: $25/hour, with prime time pay from 5-7pm and on Saturdays at $30/hour
• Full-time schedule: Mondays 2pm-7pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7am-7pm, Fridays 7am-3pm, 1st Saturday of each month 8am-3pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists during procedures
• Welcome and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, maintain study models
• Ensure infection control, maintain patient confidentiality, follow regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintain CPR certification

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
• Six months of on-the-job experience with supporting documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
