Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant-with DANB certification, to join their team. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will be part of the Oral Surgery Department supporting dental residents and students. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: New York, NY 10003

Pay Range: $27-$32 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students.
  • Assist in the administration of IV sedation and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
  • Perform tests and assist with preparing dental castings.
  • Dispense medications and provide instructions to patients.
  • Ensure safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals or hazardous materials.


    What's Needed?




    • 2+ years of related experience in a dental assistant role.
    • Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program.
    • Oral surgery experience with 1-2 years of related experience.
    • Experience with IV sedation and general anesthesia.
    • Ability to work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
