Job summary

Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles program, serving schools in the Jeffersonville, IN area. This position is five days per week during school hours, with portable dental services provided to children.

The role offers $27.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401k, generous PTO, paid holidays, flex spending, and an HSA.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana X-ray License is a MUST.
• Willingness to obtain KY X-Ray license.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Jeffersonville, IN area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Duties Include

• Responsible for maintaining portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van, all which remain in your possession at all times.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed
• Responsible with loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school
• Various administrative duties
