Mid America Health is hiring a Full Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team in the Columbus, OH area. The role supports portable dental services to children at local schools and runs Monday through Friday during school hours.

This position offers an hourly rate of $27.00 for clinic hours and drive time, with no weekend hours and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, flex spending and a health savings account.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio X-ray License required.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1 year dental assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Maintain portable equipment, supplies, and company van in good condition.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Columbus, OH area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Ohio X-ray License is required for this opportunity
