Job summary

Hero Practice Services in Denver, CO, seeks a Dental Assistant (EDDA/EFDA) to support dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality care to children. This full-time position reports to the Lead Dental Assistant and offers growth within the practice and region.

Responsibilities include patient education, sterile preparation, recording accurate patient data, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while supporting our mission to serve underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training meeting state requirements.
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Denver, CO are currently seeking a Dental Assistant - EDDA/EFDA to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. This position will report to the Lead Dental Assistant.

Job Responsibilities

• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions
• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
