Job summary

Hero Practice Services, a network delivering dental, vision, and orthodontic care, is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant for Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Greeley, CO to optimize patient flow and service quality.

You will report to the Assistant Operations Manager, supervise clinical teammates, train staff, and support high-quality care with a $23–$29/hour pay range plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active EDDA/EFDA certification meeting state requirements.
• Radiology education and training meeting state requirements.
• Extensive experience in a dental office.
• Proficient with e-Clinical Works is a plus.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Experience with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide.
• Ability to understand and accurately record patient vitals.
• Experience with protective stabilization cases (head/hand holding).

Responsibilities

• Communicate proper oral hygiene and preventative care to patients and families.
• Assist in development and training of dental assistants.
• Hold teammates accountable to meeting mission goals.
• Supervise clinical teammates including training, directing work, coaching & resolving complaints.
• Assist in protective stabilization dental cases with compassion.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable (lobby, restrooms, surfaces).
• Support duties that provide high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services.

Position Overview

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Greeley, CO are currently seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to optimize patient flow, deliver outstanding patient service, and monitor patient satisfaction. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay range: $23-$29/hr (PLUS BONUS OPPORTUNITY)

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate proper oral hygiene and preventative care to the patient and family
• Assist in the development and training of dental assistants
• Hold all teammates accountable to meeting expectations in achieving our mission
• Support in the supervision of all clinical teammates to include, but not limited to, training, directing work assignments, monitoring success and opportunities, supporting appraisal reviews and coaching conversations, addressing and resolving complaints
• Assist in protective stabilization dental cases with compassion
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Active EDDA/EFDA certification that meets state requirements
• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Extensive experience working in a dental office
