Job summary

Kids Dental Brands in Greenville is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for our Greenville office. We are an upbeat team passionate about helping children and delivering compassionate care in a modern, kid-friendly facility.

You will chair-side with dentists, take x-rays, prepare instruments, take impressions, and educate families on oral health. CDA or RDA certification and X-ray certification are preferred; no experience required if you have DA certification.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification required.
• X-ray certification preferred and advantageous.
• No experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists and perform patient care and lab duties.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take impressions of teeth and assist with procedures such as fillings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Coordinate with patients, review medical history, and monitor vital signs.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Compensation And Schedule

• Salary: Starting at $16.50 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay: up to $600 additional per month
• Schedule: On-site. Monday - Friday
