Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone is seeking an excellent Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice, where a fun, patient-centered environment and growth opportunities await.

You will assist the dentist during procedures, take and develop radiographs, review medical history, provide pre/post-op instructions, teach oral hygiene, take impressions, and chart treatments in Dentrix Ascend. This is a full-time role with Saturday availability.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant schooling or office experience is required.
• Experience with radiographs and charting in dental software is preferred.
• Availability to work Saturdays is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.

Job Type:

Full-time: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 + Benefits + Monthly Bonuses
