Our office, Clifton Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure excellent patient service and assist with administrative and basic dental tasks
  • Answer patient concerns and questions, keep patients relaxed and comfortable
  • Greet patients and prepare them for treatment
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments and post-op visits
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist with payment procedures
Your Background

You are a resourceful dental assistant who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and supporting the Dentist in providing it. You are passionate, collaborative, and proactive in adjusting to shifting priorities, with a strong desire to make an impact.

Required qualifications include:

  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience as an Oral Surgery dental assistant
  • X-Ray license
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • A high school diploma
  • Certification from an accredited dental assistant program (if legally required)
  • Active state radiology license (if legally required)

Compensation

Position base pay range: $24 - $27 USD per hour.
