Job summary

Cherry Tree Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Chippewa Center for Dental Excellence, a Cherry Tree Dental Office in Chippewa Falls, WI. You will work with a high-functioning team to support daily clinic operations and patient care.

The role requires a minimum of one year of dental assisting experience, strong communication, and familiarity with dental terminology. Growth opportunities and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting program preferred.
• Minimum of one year dental assisting experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with dental terminology and charting within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays.
• Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures.
• Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed.
• Assists doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies.
• Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient.
• Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff.
• Assist administrative team with customer service functions.

What you'll do

As a Dental Assistant you will workto enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As aDental Assistant you will:

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required
• Previous customer service or office experience
• Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Patient Care Hours

Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
