Chesaning Family Dental in Chesaning, MI seeks a full-time Dental Assistant to join a friendly, supportive private practice. You will assist the Doctor, prepare rooms and instruments, and help ensure a great patient experience in a team-focused environment.

We offer a Monday–Thursday schedule with a pay range of $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided within a collaborative clinic.

Qualifications

• Certified or experienced Dental Assistant required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Reliable and organized with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy dental office.
• Friendly and personable with patients.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be available to work Monday–Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials.
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable during visits.
• Assist the Doctor with procedures including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments.
• Take and document intraoral photographs and thoroughly chart treatment and patient information.
• Pour, trim and polish study casts; fabricate temporary restorations; clean and polish removable appliances.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean treatment rooms; follow OSHA guidelines.
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and comfortable.

We're looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is dependable, energetic, and enjoys being part of a great team!

Chesaning Family Dental is an established private family practice in Chesaning. We have a wonderful team, an amazing Doctor, and a practice that truly puts our patients and our team first. We're looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive office.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with the Doctor and team to help provide a great experience for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Assisting the Doctor with procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments
• Taking and documenting intraoral photographs
• Thoroughly charting treatment and patient information
• Pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
• Fabricating temporary restorations
• Cleaning and polishing removable appliances
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment rooms
• Following OSHA and infection control guidelines
• Answering patient questions and helping them feel informed and comfortable
• Pitching in wherever needed and being a positive part of the team

What We're Looking For

• A certified or experienced Dental Assistant
• Current in CPR certification

• Available to work our Monday–Thursday schedule

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: No Fridays at this time, but this could change in the future
