Job summary

Chesaning Family Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join a friendly, private practice in Chesaning. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the Doctor, take intraoral photographs, and help maintain a clean, organized office.

We value dependable, energetic team players who are CPR certified, detail-oriented, and personable with patients. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, with potential changes in Friday in the future, and a supportive environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A certified or experienced Dental Assistant
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a busy dental office
• Friendly and personable with patients
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Available to work our Monday–Thursday schedule

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Assisting the Doctor with procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments
• Taking and documenting intraoral photographs
• Thoroughly charting treatment and patient information
• Pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
• Fabricating temporary restorations
• Cleaning and polishing removable appliances
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment rooms
• Following OSHA and infection control guidelines
• Answering patient questions and helping them feel informed and comfortable
• Pitching in wherever needed and being a positive part of the team

• Friday: No Fridays at this time, but this could change in the future
