Responsibilities

  • Assists dentist during dental treatments.
  • Prepares treatment plans and presents them to patients.
  • Schedules patient appointments around potential obstacles.
  • Maintains instruments, supplies and equipment.
  • Records patient health histories.
  • Assists with patient management during procedures.
  • Performs instrument cleaning and sterilization.
  • Prepares dental materials and equipment for procedures.
  • Completes dental charting.
  • Manages inventory and ancillary duties.
  • Calls to confirm appointments.
  • Escalates issues to Office Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
