Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assists the dentist providing dental treatment
  • Functions as a treatment coordinator and prepares and presents treatment plans to patient
  • Schedules patient appointments
  • Maintains dental instruments, supplies and equipment
  • Collects and records patient health histories
  • Assists with patient management during dental procedures
  • Completes instrument cleaning & sterilization and post-op sanitization of treatment rooms
  • Prepares dental materials and equipment for scheduled treatments
  • Completes dental charting
  • Handles inventory and other ancillary duties
  • Calls to confirm appointments
  • Escalates issues to Office Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
