Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone in Rialto, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice. Full-time with benefits and a monthly bonus; hours are Mon–Fri 8:00 am–5:00 pm with some Saturdays 8:00 am–2:00 pm. Pay is $23.00–$28.00 hourly, negotiable based on experience.

This fast-paced, child-centered environment focuses on integrity, excellent service, accountability, and teamwork. You’ll assist clinicians, sterilize instruments, manage patient records, educate families about

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must love working with children.
• X-Ray license required.
• Must be a licensed Registered Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with procedures and patient care in a pediatric setting.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, set up trays for procedures.
• Maintain sterile operatory and handle radiography equipment.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Document patient information and chart exam findings.

RDA Job Duties:

• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.


• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.


• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)


• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.


• Happily, instruct patients in oral hygiene and preventive dental care education.


• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.


• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.


• Safely performs all duties of protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well the safety of others.

• Excellent communication and computer skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
