We are looking for a certified Dental Assistant to join our teams at Royal Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and Brentwood Dental Group! We not only deliver the best clinical care for our patients, but we also provide a high energy, team-oriented workplace. It is important for patients to know we care and will support them in getting to a place of excellent oral health. As a full-time employee (2 days at each location weekly), you will be offered medical, dental and vision benefits as well as matched 401(k) and practice bonuses.

This position will be split between two practices within 10 miles of one another. 2 days at Royal Oaks (MON/TUE) and 2 days at Brentwood (WED/THUR)!!!!

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Dentist with all dental procedures
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain Doctor's schedule and patient flow, create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patients, be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times
• Review patient chart prior to Doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during Exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in chart
• Verify patient health history (basic health review medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in practice chart
• Take digital X-Rays
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and safety requirements
• Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully
• Perform proper operation and maintenance of dental equipment
• Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis
• Support the front desk with greeting patients, check patients in and out in a friendly manner as well presenting treatment plans
• Assist with other duties as requested or needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships

• 2+ years of experience in general dentistry preferred
• EFDA Certification (optional)
• RDA License with CPA certified
