The role requires an active Maryland dental assistant EFDA license and a Maryland Radiology license. The competitive pay ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience, with additional team member bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience preferred.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Experience with digital software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. 2 Day Part Time Dental Assistant Schedule:

Monday 8:00am - 3:30pm and Wednesday 7:30am - 4:30pm with 60 min lunch breaks

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (required experience with Scanning and fabricate temporaries)
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Prepare and manage patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Assist with taking dental impressions and preparing materials for dental appliances
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Welcome patients and ensure patient comfort and help ease anxiety during treatments
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the practice
• Other tasks as instructed
