Job summary

Parkway Dental in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented practice. You will work closely with the dentist during cosmetics, extractions, implants and orthodontics, while keeping chairs and instruments clean and compliant with safety standards.

You will also capture x-rays and intra-oral photos, and relay clear post-op instructions to patients. We value DANB certification, a graduate of an accredited DA program, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• DANB Certified and a graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Strong communication to make patients feel at home.
• Positive, team-first attitude.
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during procedures (cosmetics, sedation, extractions, implants, root canals, orthodontics).
• Keep operatories clean and instruments sterile.
• Provide clear post-op instructions to patients.
• Capture x-rays, intra-oral photos, and maintain SOAP notes.
• Maintain compliance and safety practices.
