Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services’ Santa Fe pediatric dental office is growing and seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our fun, kid-friendly team. You’ll prepare patients and assist the dentist during procedures, educate families on oral health, and maintain a safe, sterile workspace.

We value a licensed or certified dental assistant with NM X-Ray and BLS, willingness to train. Pediatric experience is a plus. Competitive pay, paid time off, healthcare benefits, and ongoing training await.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

• A licensed or certified Dental Assistant in New Mexico (DANB or Radiology Certificate)
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person!
• A friendly, patient, and upbeat personality that helps kids feel at ease.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses:

• X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number
• BLS certification

Preferred Certificates or Licenses:

• Topical Fluoride New Mexico Certification
• Sealant New Mexico Certification
• Coronal Polish New Mexico Certification with License number
