Job summary

Parkway Dental in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our patient-first team. You will support the dentist during procedures, keep operatories sparkling, capture x-rays, and help patients understand post-op care with clarity and compassion.

We use digital intra-oral scanners, CBCT imaging, CEREC, and modern tools to deliver smile makeovers. A DANB certification and graduation from an accredited program are required, along with strong communication and a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• DANB certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-friendly approach.
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during procedures (cosmetics, sedation, extractions, implants, root canals, orthodontics).
• Keep operatories clean and instruments sterilized.
• Provide clear post-op instructions to patients.
• Capture x-rays and intra-oral photos; maintain SOAP notes.
• Support compliance and safety protocols.
