Job summary

Mountain Park Dentistry in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who cares about patients and wants to grow professionally. You’ll work with a technology-driven team, use modern dental tech, and enjoy a 4-day workweek with no weekends.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus a $750 sign-on bonus. Benefits include 401(k) with match, medical/vision/life/disability insurance, wellness programs, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous dental assisting experience required.
  • Leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with a patient-first approach.
  • Ability to mentor and support team members.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize patients’ needs and deliver exemplary care.
  • Encourage efficient, office-focused use of time and discussions.
  • Lead staff meetings and provide training to empower colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the doctor and leaders to resolve daily operations conflicts.
  • Support goals and strategies per the Annual Plan.
  • Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Engage patients through a positive experience.
  • Monitor and improve back-office systems via Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, and My Day.
  • Supervise lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage efficient and office-focused use of time and discussions.
  • Drive team excellence by leading dynamic staff meetings, delivering impactful training that empowers your colleagues, and pioneering innovative problem-solving strategies that elevate our entire practice.
  • Collaborate with the doctor and other team leaders on resolving conflicts that affect daily operations.
  • Support of the overall goals and strategies, per the Annual Plan.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Engage and foster patients through a positive experience.
  • Engage in the Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, My Day, and Weekly/Monthly Reports to be accountable for the systems involved in the back-office experience.
  • Supervise and monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.)
