Responsibilities include posting payments in Open Dental, reconciling balances, and communicating with patients about their account status and insurance coverage. Previous dental billing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental billing or accounts receivable.
• Experience with billing, accounts receivable, or related roles with a strong understanding of dental insurance and payments.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments accurately in Open Dental.
• Verify new or existing insurance plans to provide accurate estimates.
• Review patient accounts regularly to identify overdue balances and aging accounts.
• Communicate with patients to explain account balances and insurance coverage.
• Send insurance claims and billing statements.
