Job summary

Li & Fung is seeking a Freelance Technical Designer to support denim product development for a key customer. You will ensure fit, construction integrity, and technical accuracy from development to production.

Responsibilities include preparing tech packs, specs, and fit documentation, leading fittings, and collaborating with Design and Sourcing teams to meet calendars and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in related field.
• 5–7+ years of technical design experience with denim.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, fit development and fabric performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design support for denim products from development through TOP.
• Create and maintain tech packs, graded specs, BOMs, construction pages, and fit docs.
• Lead fittings and provide clear fit comments focused on consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Production to resolve issues.
