Centric Brands Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to maintain established fits and drive spec updates for new fabrics across seasons. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Design and requires strong technical knowledge and collaborative skills.

You will manage fit logs, communicate with vendors, and ensure timely production while upholding the brand’s aesthetic across body blocks and construction details.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Technical Design, Pattern Making or Design.
• Proficient in Excel/Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of sewing or Gerber knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Proficient knowledge of POM’s and how to accurately spec garments.
• Log/track sample maintained by fit lists for your category.
• Lead fittings with clear and accurate knowledge of history and how to execute the comments.
• Create/establish initial specs based on existing body blocks in order to uphold their aesthetic for fit and silhouette; including measurements, construction details and technical sketches.
• Collaborate with Design and corresponding teams to determine fit and priorities to meet timelines.
