Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco seeks a part-time Tailor to deliver a best-in-class tailoring experience and support shop operations. You will perform hemming, repairs and fittings while delivering excellent service and guidance to customers.

This role emphasizes denim expertise, fashion awareness, and teamwork with store leadership. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of sewing/tailoring experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience, denim construction knowledge.
Strong sewing machine operation and alteration skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

Performs basic alteration services (hemming, patching, repair, tapering) and advanced tailoring as needed.
Exemplifies strong customer service to enhance client experience.
Resolve tailoring-related concerns in alignment with store policy.
Collaborate with store management on elevated customer issues.
Educates and trains store teams on tailoring services offered.
May assist with training Tailors within district/region on Levi's tailoring standards.
Follow store policies and procedures; engage customers with Levi's omni experience.
Handle cash and Tailor Shop merchandise operations efficiently.
