Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a part-time Tailor in New York to deliver a best-in-class tailoring experience. You will perform alterations from hemming to more technical fittings, while upholding Levi's standards and customer-first approach.

You'll work with store leadership to educate teams on tailoring services, promote the Levi's omni-channel experience, and ensure accurate handling of merchandise and cash in the Tailor Shop. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of jeans construction and denim fabrics.
• Ability to operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic alteration services and more technical tailoring.
• Provide excellent customer service in-store.
• Assist with Tailor Shop operations and training as needed.
• Follow store policies and promote Levi's omni experience.
• Support with inventory and cash handling related to Tailor Shop.
