Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. Emeryville is seeking a part-time Tailor to deliver a best-in-class tailoring experience. You will perform hemming, patches, and repairs, plus more technical alterations on denim and other fabrics.

You will educate store teams, handle tailoring-related customer concerns, and support store management in delivering Levi’s Tailor Shop services while lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sewing/tailoring experience and strong knowledge of jeans construction.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic alterations (hemming, patching, repairs) and more technical tailoring.
• Educate and train store teams on tailoring services.
• Resolve tailor-related customer concerns and partner with store management on escalated issues.
