Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Part-time Tailor to support our store team with alterations and customer service. You'll perform hemming, patching, tapering and more technical tailoring as needed, bringing denim expertise to the forefront of the Levi's Tailor Shop.

We value heritage, authenticity and flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience and a strong knowledge of jeans construction to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sewing/tailoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of jeans construction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced alterations (hemming, patches, repairs, tapering).
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance client experience.
• Handle tailoring-related concerns and coordinate with store management on issues.
• Train and mentor other tailors as needed.
• Follow store policies and maintain accurate cash and merchandise handling.
