Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a skilled Tailor in Paramus, NJ to perform alterations on denim and other fabrics, while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves training teammates, following store policies, and contributing to in-store promotions and Levi's omni experience.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience, strong denim knowledge, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years sewing/tailoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of jeans construction and denim sewing machines.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic alterations (hemming, patching, repair, tapering) and advanced tailoring.
• Provide excellent customer service to elevate the client experience.
• Resolve tailor-related concerns in line with company policy.
• Educate and train store teams on Tailor Shop offerings and services.
• Possibly train district/region Tailors on processes and Levi’s tailoring standards.
• Follow store policies and directives from management.
• Suggest looks aligned with current trends and promotions.
• Promote Levi's omni experience through Red Tab Loyalty engagement.
• Handle Tailor Shop merchandise operations with policy compliance.
