Job summary

KnitWell Group in Times Square, New York, is seeking a Designer to lead the design process from concept to final prototype for Pants and Denim. You will drive market research, mood boards, sketches, specs and fit while upholding the brand across teams.

Collaborate with Senior Designer and Product Development on fabric direction, participate in fittings, and translate concepts into market-ready pieces with strong color and construction insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelorrs degree in Design and 4 years of design experience in dresses/sportswear.
• Ability to convey stitch and construction ideas via sketches and tech sketches.
• Strong eye for fabric, silhouette, color, and trim.

Responsibilities

• Execute design process from conception to final prototype for Pants and Denim.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships and uphold brand identity.
• Collaborate on seasonal fabric/yarn direction with Senior Designer/Director.
• Attend fittings and provide input on fit and construction.
