Confidential, based in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a talented Denim Designer to join our team. You will focus on junior denim and woven bottoms, taking concepts from design through technical execution.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong Adobe Illustrator skills, and the ability to create precise tech packs and flats. You will collaborate across product development, technical design, production, and merchandising while working on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional design experience in denim and/or woven bottoms.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fit, washes, fabrics, and denim development.
• Ability to create detailed technical flats and communicate design intent clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop denim and woven bottoms with a focus on the junior market.
• Create detailed, accurate technical sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
• Research and interpret current fashion, denim, and junior market trends.
• Develop new silhouettes, washes, fabrications, details, and construction techniques.
• Collaborate closely with product development, technical design, production, and merchandising teams.
• Prepare detailed tech packs, including construction details, measurements, callouts, and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with overseas and domestic vendors and manufacturers.
• Review samples and provide clear, detailed design and fit comments.
• Maintain seasonal design direction while ensuring products are commercially relevant.
• Manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a talented and highly technical Denim Designer to join our team in Downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate has a strong background designing junior denim and woven bottoms, with a keen understanding of current trends, fit, fabrication, wash, and construction.

This role is ideal for a designer who combines strong creative instincts with exceptional technical skills and can take a concept from initial design through detailed technical execution.

• Strong understanding of the junior customer and contemporary denim market.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Must be comfortable working on-site in Downtown Los Angeles five days per week.
