Job summary

Los Angeles Collective seeks an Associate Technical Designer in Los Angeles, CA. The role oversees denim and woven bottoms from development to production, ensuring accurate measurements, quality, construction and overall fit.

You’ll assemble tech packs, develop detailed fit comments, participate in fabric/trim sourcing, and coordinate with vendors, PD and design to meet calendar milestones and ensure BOM accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Illustrator is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of technical design experience in denim/knits
• Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage fit scheduling and vendor communications
• Attention to detail and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Assemble tech packs with detailed sketches, construction details and specs in Illustrator and Excel.
• Create clear fit comments with visual aids and communicate fit issues via photos and diagrams.
• Assist in fabric and trim sourcing and update WIPs and line sheets.
• Track yields and update BOMs in Full Circle; manage sample organization.
• Lead fit sessions on live models and log critiques for improvements.
• Provide grading guidelines to vendors after fit approval and monitor timing.
