Responsibilities

• Analyzes data to recover potential revenue from payer denials and determines if appeals should be filed; initiates and manages denials within payer timelines.
• Coordinates responses of stakeholders including legal counsel and health information management.
• Identifies denial trends and suggests workflow improvements to leadership.
• Acts as RAC program SME and tracks status of payer audit activities.
• Supports system-wide audit activities to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
