Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in the United States is seeking a Performance Management Denials Analyst Standardization Lead to reduce preventable claim denials by identifying root causes in clinical, coding, and processes that affect reimbursement.

You will analyze denied claims daily, write clear problem statements, partner with coding and revenue cycle teams, and assess the financial impact of denials to drive corrective actions and protect revenue across internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management with a focus on denials and performance management.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology related to denied claims.
• Experience collaborating with coding teams and stakeholders analyzing denial root causes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze denied claims to develop and write clear problem statements defining objectives and failure points.
• Partner with operational teams to validate medical terminology, coding accuracy, and front-end revenue cycle processes contributing to denials.
• Assess and communicate the financial impact of denials to support initiatives reducing revenue loss and improving bottom line.
• Own denial analysis with measurable financial impact and drive corrective action.
