Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with SQL (basic level) and PowerBI preferred.
• 4–6 years in medical billing, denials management, or revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analytical resource for the Unresponded team, tracking and reporting on post-appeal payer activity across plans.
• Monitor KPI metrics including backlog aging, SLA adherence, appeal response rates, and trends; share findings with leadership.
• Lead or support weekly metric review meetings with trend analysis and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze unresponded appeal data to identify root causes and inform prioritization decisions.
• Translate operational findings into actionable workflow recommendations and input for tech teams.
• Support billing systems and payer portal workflow configuration to ensure accurate tracking.
• Collaborate with Denials & Appeals teams to document and quantify error trends.
• Track offshore/onshore productivity and support leadership reporting.
• Research payer-specific requirements and policy changes to inform actions.
