Job summary

United Ground Express is seeking a full-time Aircraft Cleaning Attendant to service aircraft at Denver International Airport. You will remove trash, clean cabins, restock magazines and perform safety checks to ensure a clean, safe cabin environment.

Willingness to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays is required. Fluency in English, strength for physical tasks, and data-entry abilities are essential. Competitive wages and earned PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data.
• Physical requirements: bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces.
• Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
• Ability to read/interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions and related labels/tags.
• Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs) per local requirements.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work day and night shifts, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Remove all trash from aircraft and clean/restock lavatories and soiled magazines.
• Clean aircraft floor, galley, seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables.
• Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches.
• Use PPE including face shield and hearing protection.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, airline employees, and airport authorities.
• Ensure operations are safe, caring, dependable and efficient at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with hub services agents.

• Clean aircraft floor, galley, all seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables
• Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
• Use personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
• Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
• Ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
• Perform other duties, as assigned
• Effectively communicate with all hub services agents

Qualifications and minimum requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
• Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
• Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
• Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
• Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
