Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. at DEN airport is seeking a Full-Time Lead Cabin Appearance Agent to maintain cabin cleanliness, restock supplies, and uphold safety standards during operations.

You will perform daily equipment checks, coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors, and train teammates while ensuring timely service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
• Must be physically able to perform bending, stooping, climbing and work in tight spaces
• Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
• Must read/interpret loading instructions, labels and routing tags
• Eligibility to obtain required credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs) per local rules
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required
• Successful completion of interview is required

Responsibilities

• Remove all trash from aircraft and clean/restock lavatories and magazines
• Clean aircraft floor, galley, seats, pocket and tray tables
• Complete daily equipment checks and security-related tasks
• Use PPE including face shield and hearing protection
• Direct and coach employees to ensure tasks are completed
• Coordinate with Dispatchers and Supervisors on assignments
• Communicate with hub services agents effectively
• Report injuries, incidents and customer service issues
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and airport authorities
• Ensure safe and efficient operation at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Remove all trash from aircraft and clean and restock all lavatories and soiled magazines
• Clean aircraft floor, galley, all seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables
• Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
• Use personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
• Manage the daily operation to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
• Provide direction, instruction and coaching to employees as needed
• Work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to ensure employee assignments are followed and completed correctly
• Effectively communicate with all hub services agents
• Ensure any injuries, incidents, accidents, and/or customer service issues are properly reported and processed
• Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
• Ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications and minimum requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
• Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
• Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
• Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
• Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
