Job summary

SERVPRO of Glendora/Baldwin Park is seeking a motivated restoration technician to join our response team. You will work on property damage scenarios and help families recover quickly.

Responsibilities include water extraction, fire damage restoration, equipment setup, and site cleanup. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required; on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays may apply. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driverations license required.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous restoration or construction experience preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations for water and fire damage.
• Perform restoration tasks: water extraction, drying, debris removal and cleanup.
• Set up specialty equipment and oversee site safety and communication with supervisors.
• Load and inventory tools and supplies for each project.
• Maintain clear communication with clients about the restoration process.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid drivers license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
