Job summary

SERVPRO Franchise is seeking motivated technicians to perform hands-on restoration work in residential and commercial properties. You will respond to emergencies, operate equipment, and support teams on site to return spaces to a safe, pre-loss condition.

Ideal candidates enjoy physical work, teamwork, and helping people in their time of need. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work varied shifts are required; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires teamwork and a willingness to learn a new trade.
• Must be able to work outdoors and perform manual restoration tasks.
• On-call shifts may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• IICRC certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency restoration situations (water, fire).
• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, drying, and cleanup.
• Load and inventory tools and equipment for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and job-site needs with supervisors and clients.
• Maintain clear client communication and explain restoration processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
