Demi Chef De Partie - Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba

Ready for a exciting career move? You will play a key role in our kitchen, working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook, and serve will delight our guests and leave them wanting more.

What you will be doing:

  • Share ideas, opinions, and suggestions to improve our environment and menus
  • Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for à la carte and buffet menus according to recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and seek guest feedback

Your experience and skills include:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Relevant diplomas/certifications as needed

Your team and working environment:

  • Assume responsibilities of the Chef de Partie in their absence
  • Check taste, consistency, and quantity of all prepared food, avoiding overproduction
  • Assist in the production, preparation, and presentation of all food items to ensure high quality
  • Study and create new dishes
  • Control access to the kitchen to authorized personnel only
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and food items, discarding spoiled products
  • Inspect buffet, display, and banqueting setups according to the Executive Chef’s specifications and address discrepancies immediately
  • During peak hours, station yourself at the outlet kitchen or buffet to ensure food service meets standards
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
