Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Clarita is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers to join our growing team. We provide high-quality, non-medical home care for seniors, with a focus on dementia and memory care, mobility support, and safe transfers.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor health, and report changes while following care plans. A supportive team and flexible scheduling help you deliver care with dignity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, especially with dementia and memory care.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility tasks.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive approach to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide dementia and memory care support including redirection and safety supervision.
• Support mobility and transfers (bed, chair, toilet) with proper body mechanics.
• Assist with lifting and transfer techniques.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support light exercise or short walks as appropriate.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or safety concerns.
