Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Clarita is hiring daytime caregivers to join our compassionate team, providing non-medical in-home care for seniors. We seek experienced caregivers with dementia and memory care, mobility support, and safe transfers to help clients maintain independence with dignity.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, and able to follow care plans, document changes, and communicate clearly with families. Training is provided; competitive wages and flexible schedules offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving (professional or personal).
• Strong dementia and memory care experience preferred.
• Mobility care, transfers, and fall prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide dementia and memory care support including redirection and safety supervision.
• Support mobility with safe ambulation, positioning, and transfers (bed, chair, toilet).
• Assist with lifting and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders and support light exercise or short walks.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or safety concerns.
