Brookdale Senior Living in Florida is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate dementia care and support for residents in daily living activities. You will engage residents with meaningful activities, monitor health and report changes to the care team.

The role requires sensitivity to dementia care, adherence to care plans, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents' comfort, safety, and dignity.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience or equivalent training in direct service with older adults living with dementia.
• Knowledge of dementia, particularly Alzheimer's type.
• Follow state regulations regarding medication assistance and maintain required certifications where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dementia care including adapted ADLs, meaningful engagement and resident communication.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and meals according to individual care plans.
• Maintain and update resident records daily and document changes in condition or behavior.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior to supervisor promptly.
