Benevolent Hearts Home Care is seeking a Behavioral Support Caregiver to assist seniors in Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Trophy Club, and surrounding communities. Travel to client homes is required; part-time shifts are available across mornings, evenings, weekends, and short shifts.

You will use dementia-focused strategies, provide companionship, and help with daily activities for clients living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of verifiable professional caregiving experience
• Experience supporting clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Weekend availability preferred
• Comfortable working in homes with pets

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors with Alzheimer's and other dementias
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
• Use redirection, validation, and dementia-friendly communication
• Support clients with cognitive and behavioral changes
• Provide meaningful engagement, companionship, and cognitive stimulation
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments and community activities
• Monitor changes and report concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols
