Job summary

Benevolent Hearts Home Care is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to support seniors in Keller and surrounding areas. Shifts include day and overnight options, with differential pay for high-acuity cases.

We emphasize dementia-focused training and calm, respectful interactions in the home care setting. Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, are comfortable with Alzheimer's and related conditions, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Use dementia-friendly communication approaches.
• Support cognitive and behavioral changes.
• Create meaningful engagement and companionship.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Communicate concerns to the care team and follow care plans.
