Job summary

Benevolent Hearts Home Care is seeking dedicated Memory Care Caregivers to support seniors in Keller, including day and overnight shifts. Our team focuses on dementia-informed interactions and compassionate, person-centered care in the home setting.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, comfort with dementia-related behaviors, and reliable transportation. CNA certification is helpful but not required; background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience with dementia
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background screening

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
• Use dementia-friendly communication approaches such as redirection and validation
• Support clients experiencing cognitive and behavioral changes
• Create meaningful engagement and companionship
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Monitor changes in condition and communicate concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols

Day Shifts (8 AM-8 PM) and Overnight Shifts Available

Additional pay differentials may apply for select high-acuity behavioral cases.

Benevolent Hearts Home Care provides specialized dementia training focused on creating more positive interactions between clients and caregivers in the home care setting.

At Benevolent Hearts Home Care, we are building a specialized team of caregivers who understand that behaviors are communication. Our goal is to help caregivers develop the skills and confidence needed to create calmer, more successful interactions with clients living with dementia.

We're looking for caregivers who are comfortable supporting seniors living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory loss, sundowning, wandering, and other dementia-related behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
